home late at night, often after all the kids were in bed.  
However late he was Mom always fixed his supper and 
the two would talk at the kitchen table.  On paydays he 
loved to surprise his girls with a new record—Tina the 
Ballerina, How Much is that Doggie in the Window? 
…and so many more.  

 

 

When the family grew too large for the house, 

he built an addition.  He was playful with his kids.  He 
loved to tease and tickle.  He was faithful to his God 
and supported his parish church with time and talent.  
He had a wonderful singing voice.  At the last parish 
minstrel he soloed Old Man River.   

 

 

Over time the memories slip away.
